Let’s Be Honest…

Our unfiltered thoughts on the past week in sports…

Congratulations to the New York football Giants for winning Super Bowl 46!

Let’s give it up for the Giants’ punter, Steve Weatherford, for making the New England Patriots fight hard for good field position.

Boo to NBC for cutting away during Victor Cruz’s signature touchdown dance. Everyone loves a lil cha cha and salsa.

Let’s Be Honest…

Our unfiltered thoughts on the past week in sports…

Tom Brady looked like Aaron Rodgers last week.  Unfortunately, the Ravens didn’t capitalize the way the Giants did.

Brady tried to go for the nail in the coffin and Jimmy Smith made him pay dearly.  After this interception, you just felt the momentum shift in the Ravens favor. Alas…

Let’s Be Honest – NFL Playoff Edition

Our unfiltered thoughts on the past week in sports…

What a thrilling and emotional game as the San Francisco 49ers beat the New Orleans Saints and Jim Harbaugh solidified the title of NFL coach of the year.

Because the 49ers won it was acceptable and almost cool for Alex Smith to wear this mechanic’s shirt during his presser:

Let’s Be Honest…

Our unfiltered thoughts on the past week in sports…

How rude of LSU, letting both Arkansas and Georgia think they had a chance of winning before coming back and smacking them silly.

Tyrann Mathieu surely lived up to his “honeybadger” nickname with two punt returns in the SEC title game.

Something for the Ladies – Football Edition

It’s that time again.  Ladies, here is our holiday gift to you.

Michael Vick, quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles.  Can we say MVP of the NFL?   Well he’s my choice.

It’s all about the hair but Troy Polamalu is the quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers defense.

Onto another Michael, I was told that the ladies were eyeing the lower half of the Falcons running back Michael Turner last night.

And while we’re on backsides…they’ve been losing bad lately but have you seen the NY (football) Giants in those gray pants?  [It is a lil old, it took me a while to find this one.]

Enjoy!

Let’s Be Honest…

Our unfiltered thoughts on the past week in sports…

Someone needs to tell Tashard Choice that you don’t do this on national television:

No one thought the Knicks would win 8 straight AND Amar’e would have 30+ in each of those games.

The New York Jets are on the way down and Mark Sanchez is leading them there….quickly.

Speaking of the Jets, this is childish and inexcusable:

This mess looked like it was right out of a sci-fi movie:

The NFC West does not deserve a playoff spot when the division leader is 6-7.

DeSean Jackson is one cocky mofo and someone is gonna knock his block off for it!

The Giants kinda got screwed by that snowstorm.

The four week wait between conference championships and the BCS championship is stupid!

Folks are crazy for thinking Will Muschamp should have waited out for Texas’ headcoach Mack Brown to step down instead of taking that University of Florida job!

And who is this new coach at The U?  Have you heard of him?

The decision by CBS to spare NFL fans from watching the Patriots beat down on the Bears by switching to the Jets-Dolphin game was too funny (well that’s what happened in NC).

Shouldn’t the Heisman Trophy ceremony be shorter?  It was a whole lot of nothing. [Congrats to Cam though!]

You got a little emotional by Lee Corso and his award presentation at the college football awards.

We are proud of Jason Campbell.  We knew he could do it!

And related to that, it’s tough being a Redskins fan.  Good lawd!
