Our unfiltered thoughts on the past week in sports…
I’m not exactly sure why this guy thought it was a good idea to attack NBA legend Dominique Wilkins (in Atlanta no less) but I’m certain he wishes he hadn’t.
This must have been the week for throwing punches in the NBA. Both John Wall of the Washington Wizards and Matt Barnes of the Los Angeles Lakers (nothing new for him) were suspended for getting violent.
Even Kobe Bryant was disrespected by Krylo Fesenko of the Utah Jazz; Kobe was fouled and Fesenko felt the need to throw the basketball at him. Classy.
Shaq was back for the Celtics and just as soon as he was in the game he was out with another injury. It might be time for him to hang it up for good.
After beating the Lakers in LA, are the Nuggets a legitimate contender in the West?
Shaka Smart and VCU sure helped make the tournament exciting. I’m still not a fan of the First Four though.
Will Coach Cal of UConn ever win it all? After taking 3 different schools to the Final Four he has yet to walk away with the championship.
Brad Stevens, head coach of Butler, is THAT dude!
I guess UConn students either couldn’t afford to get to the Final Four or are focused on their studies but could the NCAA gotten some fillers?
Butler and UConn on Monday night? Who ya got?
The NCAA Women’s Basketball Final Four teams go hard! Maya Moore of UConn and Skylar Diggins of Notre Dame are beasts!
Who had Notre Dame and Texas A&M in their women’s bracket? Who had a women’s bracket?
Baseball season started on Thursday. The Red Sox have started out ice cold and the Orioles are on a roll but with a 162 game season, does it really mean anything? Are you even watching?
Phil Mickelson won the Houston Open (the Master’s tune up). Will he be enough to make people watch the Master’s next week? Is the public losing hope in the possibility of a Tiger comeback?
Since when does Michael Jackson = sports? A soccer club in England unveiled a tribute statue of the gloved one…uh, yeah.
